We now have "curly corners" on the various colored text boxes on the front page. This experiment will soon spread to the reviews section. I think it adds a touch of professionalism to the site. The new review format features screenshots and a nice looking banner. We hope to update some of the older reviews in the near future, and post the two remaining reviews I have in my inbox. Temporarily closed "by date" for older months in order to fix broken links and formatting problems. |

7-8 Nov 1998
Continued beautification with the help of comments from MarkG and the Monk. We're definitely getting somewhere now. New scenario reviews are coming soon, and finally we can actually read the text of the reviews (no more blue on black - yay!). The beautiful new logo is now used on all pages (sleag3.gif), and was created from my original model by Monk.
4 Nov 1998
More work was done to beautify the site. I borrowed some design elements from the Apolyton site and from Monk's mockups (thanks to all involved). I also got help from a local "fashion guru" on color schemes. New today is this page, the index page, and the various overview of reviews pages. Comments are welcome. We also added Cam Hills' link to the members page.
2 Nov 1998
I gave the entire site a facelift to try and improve the professionalism of the site. Obviously it still needs a lot of work, but things are definitely looking cleaner. The actual reviews still look awful, but I'll fix that relatively soon.
1 Nov 1998
Today we added a new version of the reviewing form (2.0) to make it more cleanly fit with our posted web reviews.
31 Oct 1998
Everything's new! We've just opened and posted our first few reviews. I also made everything fit on the screen at 800 x 600 resolution.
