^In 1885 Otto von Bismarck called a conference that would completely
change the face of entire continent forever. Without consulting
any of its inhabitants, representatives of the six nations present
at the conference drew up plans for the slicing up of the
"dark continent". An important aspect of the agreements was that
territory would not be recognised unless it was backed up with
"real occupation". Realising the importance of an immediate
invasion of the continent, power armies were shipped to Africa,
intent on forging a great empire in their name of their respective
countries. Whether the various countries will keep thier promises
yet to be seen...
