This folder was created by me as an attempt to
compensate for the various historical inaccuracies and gaps
found in Civilization II, using the resources presented by
the Civilization II Gold Edition. The "History" scenario,
created to be a representation of Earth as it was in the
beginning of civilization has several additions that try to
make it as historically accurate as possible:

-The civilizations being in what is belived to be the main
origin points of the human race.

-The earliest leaders I could find: The first dynasties of Egypt
				    and China.

				    The first Mesopotamian leader
				    to rule from the Mediterranian
				    to the Persian Gulf.

				    The earliest European, Greek, and
Native American leaders I knew of.

-The placement of barbarians in places of minor settlement. Example:
The Indus Valley Civilization lasted too short to be represented, so
Barbarians are used.

The folder also has many modifications in itself:

-Modified costs, upkeep, factors, and prerequisites.

-More advances to support more units filling in gaps in the timeline.

-The creation of "guilds" to replace some wonders.

-New sounds (for Civ. II non-TOT).

-New firepower/hit point factors.

-"Gold" replaced with "credits."

-New unit, terrain, and city icons.

-New city names.

-A "citypref.txt" for those who have the proper version.

-The elimination of some wonders that cause some contreversy or game-
winning effect to increase difficulty.

I encourage the creation of new, and modification of old scenarios
to fit in the folder, since its similarities to regular Civ. II make the
latter simple, but still interesting. I would appreciate if you e-maiI me
any suggestions at J8x9@hotmail.com, but responses will be slow since my
Stargate provider locked me out of Hotmail using its StarGaurdian thing to
keep kids of inappropriate websites, so be forewarned, but not discouraged.
I hope you enjoy my scenario and any you create for the folder.

Finally, I'd like to credit some of the artwork in this scenario to
those who created it. I love this art, and I chose it as the most historically
accurate out of all the art I had available to me. If I accidenally did not credit
some artwork of yours, I apologize, and please e-mail me with either the name of the
icon that you created, and whatever name you would like to give me, and I will include
the credit in later versions, or your request for me to remove the icon from later
versions. Thank You.
